Great Lakes Medical Research (GLMR) is an award winning internationally respected medical research business in Westfield New York. Over the past 18 years we have participated in clinical trials with notable pharmaceutical companies as well as nationally recognized educational institutions.

The research team is made up of certified research coordinators, principal investigators, and registered nurses who as a team have been selected by medical firms all over the world to conduct phase II, III, and IV research trials in an outpatient clinical setting, focusing on patient care and education. The research population includes rural, urban and suburban groups spanning the pediatric to geriatric population.

Great Lakes Medical Research is a division of Westfield Family Physicians, a private family practice group. Established in 1979, Westfield Family Physicians consists of twelve providers. There are currently six family medicine physicians, four Nurse Practitioners and two Physicians’ Assistants who provide primary health care services to residents of Chautauqua County, New York. Because Great Lakes Medical Research is a division of the family practice they are able to offer the 10,000 active family practice patients research opportunities closer to home.
