Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation

Facilitating advances in medical care

Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation

The Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) based within the Greenslopes Private Hospital (GPH), consists of a team of specialist research nurses and scientists who provide trial coordination services for the affiliated GPH medical officers . We provide our research partners with first-class conduct, management and coordination of multi-centre national and international clinical research trials. Our aim is to deliver clinicians and patients with access to new and emerging medications in an effort to advance medical care for all.

Our site has been involved in pivotal International oncology trials in Melanoma, reaching first patient first visit on several occasions, with several trial data resulting in drug registration in the USA and Australia. Our liver and respiratory Principal Investigators have basic research teams researching liver cancer, fatty liver disease, and infectious respiratory diseases, respectively. We have had successful regulatory audits in 2015 (EMEA- Oncology) and 2017 (FDA - Respiratory). Our site has received National recognition through ARCS Australia as Favourite/Best site in 2014, 2017 and 2018.
