Charleston Research Institute (CRI) is a South Carolina nonprofit dedicated to the advancement of VA research. CRI participates in research collaborations among Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center (Charleston VAMC), Medical University of South Carolina, industry sponsors, federal agencies, and other nonprofit funding sources.

Charleston Research Institute is committed to fostering a vibrant research environment at Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. Since its incorporation in 1997, CRI has represented over $11 million in funding for Charleston VAMC research and has supported more than 100 research studies.
