Smith, MD, President of VRG and NOCCR, board certified in cardiology, nephrology, internal medicine and critical care, has been an industry leader in conducting clinical research for close to thirty years.  He has led in the development of adaptive study design and assisted directly with protocol development, including FIH, SAD-MAD, renal PK and others.    He has been a key consultant to several large pharmaceutical companies and assisted many Biotech’s with their clinical programs.
